The Repton Room is an even cosier place to enjoy the delights of the day, and with space for up to 27 guests this charming alcove of daylight and original paintings and prints makes for a wonderful small scale celebration. Of course, for many people bigger is better, and should you want a wedding on a larger scale Stoke Park’s The Ballroom is the ideal place to build a party atmosphere.

Able to accommodate up to 100 guests with ease, this spacious situation in the West Wing of the mansion house is characterised by its ornate high ceilings and beautiful open fireplace in the middle of the silk panelled walls. Overlooking gorgeous gardens designed by the renowned ‘Capability’ Brown, this room is perfect for any sort of ceremony, easily shifting to accommodate your number of guests and fitting with most themes with ease due to its airy and opulent decor.

As the home of one of the most celebrated spas in the world, Stoke Park are able to ensure that the bridal party and the groom are all rested and pampered before and after the big event, and each of the 49 5 AA Red Star bedrooms can be hired at reduced rates to accommodate your guests – a smart move considering that the Presidents Bar stays open well after 1am should you want to party into the early hours.

Stoke Park are also unique in that they offer a signature wedding cake should you want a confection that works magnificently with the opulent decor. Created by celebrated chef Chris Wheeler, this towering naked cake is adorned with festoons of delicious forest fruits and filled with indulgent butter icing, the beautiful vintage colours making it a treat for the eyes as well as the taste buds.
